This week I was lucky to be invited to Cassio Lounge in Watford – Cassio Lounge is a fairly new bar and restaurant based on the high street next to Las Iguanas near the Intu shopping centre. I’ve not been here before so was lovely to try it! The inside was really appealing and the food and drinks were good with a wide selection to choose from.
The decor and the venue is really cool and the inside is dimly lit by loads of hanging lights – how cute are the moons and stars?! There’s also loads of artwork on one wall as well as a tassel light feature towards the back, overall the place is really nice inside and has really cosy vibes. Would be super cute for a date!! There’s not many places like this in Watford so it’s good to experience something a bit different.
Cassio Lounge has a really good range of food and drinks – me and my friend had cocktails first (literally a ritual), she had an espresso martini and I had a biscoffi cheesecake cocktail which was so good! The biscoffi cocktail was made with Baileys and Ketel One vodka which is shaken with Biscoffi syrup and banana purée, served over crushed ice and topped with cream and Biscoff biscuit (incredible). They have a good mix of classic and fun cocktails on their menu and loads of wines, beers and spirits to choose from.
The food we had here was good – we both got the same main which was a burger with coleslaw and fries..I’m not hugely into burgers but this was really nice! They were cooked well and had quite a few extras on so the flavour was good. We also got macaroni cheese to share (safe to say we left feeling very full) and this was also nice. There’s loads of options on the menu and at at really good price, they also do vegan, gluten free and kids menus! (All menus available online).

The staff were really friendly and looked after us whilst we were there and we really helpful..I think service etc is important when going out for food etc as it can literally make or break your experience so that was really nice!
Overall Cassio Lounge was a great experience and the restaurant is a really nice setting and the food and drinks are both good. I’d definitely think I’ll go again and I’d recommend to anyone looking for a cute place to drink or for a dinner date!
